I was so excited when Yarnspirations showed me a sneak peak of their 2015 Baby Lookbook: Country Mouse & City Mouse and asked if I would review one of the patterns! This FREE book is full of cute and fun baby patterns for crocheters and knitters and all 14 of the patterns are available as a downloadable PDF.

I was immediately drawn to the Garden Lattice Jumper and knew I had to make one for my daughter! I decided to use different colors (than what was featured) from the Patons Classic Wool line of yarn. I chose magenta and aran for the skirt of the dress and pink, magenta, gold, and a bit of black for the bodice. I also saw an opportunity to choose a different design for the cross stitch embellishment. An adorable little owl was the perfect finishing touch! I am sharing my cross stitch graph design below. I made the 18 month size which is modeled by my 21 month old daughter but it’s available in sizes 6 months – 4T. The pattern was easy to follow and the repetition of the stitches made it quicker to work up than I expected! Graphs and detailed pictures were provided along with the written pattern which were a huge help (even for an experienced crocheter). I know many of you will enjoy this pattern and many of the others featured in this Lookbook!
